General Members
Open to any firm, company, partnership, or corporation based in Sri Lanka that is actively engaged in trade, industry, or services, and whose operations align with the objectives of the Ceylon Chamber.

Patron Members

Associate Members
For emerging or small-scale businesses with:
- An annual turnover of less than LKR 25 million, and
- Fewer than 50 employees.
This category provides a three-year pathway to General Membership, helping businesses integrate into the Ceylon Chamber network as they grow. Associate Members can access most benefits but are not eligible to vote or serve on the Ceylon Chamber Committee.

Trade Sections, Affiliated Members & Chambers
For Trade Associations, Chambers of Commerce based in Sri Lanka or overseas, and similar bodies, who are not in direct competition with, and whose activities align with, the objectives of the Ceylon Chamber.
Overseas Chambers or associations that wish to collaborate and maintain formal links with the Ceylon Chamber may also apply under this category.
Affiliated Members may nominate representatives to participate in committees, subject to specific eligibility and governance criteria.

How to Apply
Eligibility
- Applicants must have been operational for at least one year.
- Sri Lankan companies should submit audited financial statements for the past two years, along with supporting documentation (e.g., certificate of incorporation, Form 20 detailing directors, etc.)
Proposers
Each application must be proposed and seconded by two current Ceylon Chamber members:
- At least one must be from the same line of business
- Both must have held membership for a minimum of five years
Approval Process
- Applications are first reviewed by the Ceylon Chamber Management, and then presented to the Ceylon Chamber Committee
- Admission requires a two-thirds majority approval by the Committee
- Once approved, the applicant must settle the relevant entrance and subscription fees
- Processing time: approximately 4 – 7 weeks
Maintaining Membership
- Members must keep their annual subscriptions up to date to retain full privileges.
- Any change in company name must be notified promptly to the Ceylon Chamber
