The Ceylon Chamber of Commerce recently hosted an engaging interactive session with Sri Lanka’s newly appointed Heads of Mission to key global destinations, offering the local business community a valuable opportunity to connect directly with the country’s outgoing ambassadors and high commissioners.
The event hosted Ambassadors designated to Cuba, India, Japan, Pakistan, the United Arab Emirates, the United Kingdom, and the United Nations, and several private sector representatives, who engaged in conversations on trade, investment, tourism promotion, and strengthening economic ties between Sri Lanka and these countries.
Participants had the chance to share their sectoral insights, discuss market opportunities and challenges, and highlight how Sri Lankan businesses can be better represented and supported overseas. The session was designed to foster practical collaboration and ensure that Sri Lanka’s economic interests are well-articulated on the global stage.
The Ceylon Chamber extends its best wishes to the Heads of Mission as they take on their diplomatic assignments.
