We are pleased to bring you the summaries and key takeaways from the Sri Lanka Economic Summit 2017 that the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce recently held. Following the Summit, we are now focusing on next steps.
1) As the first step, we have prepared summaries for each of the sessions, which contain key ideas, takeaways and recommendations. We are pleased to share this with you – attached herewith. 2) Following that, we will be submitting these to relevant stakeholder groups within the Chamber (e.g. sector associations, Steering Committees, National Agenda Committees, etc.); to identify and select which of these should be escalated to policy makers.
3) Finally, we will seek meetings for the Chamber with the relevant policy makers to discuss and submit our recommendations.
