Pakistan to Hold Mega Trade Exhibition & B2B Meetings at BMICH on 15-17 January 2016 in Colombo.
On behalf of the Pakistan Sri Lanka Business Council, I have the privilege to announce that the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) in collaboration with the High Commission of Pakistan, Colombo will be holding a mega Single Country Exhibition on 15-17 January 2016 at BMICH, Colombo.
The exhibition titled as ‘Sharing the Legacy’ will bring the colors of Pakistan, new business partnership opportunities, Pakistan textile traditions, art, culture and cousin under one roof.
With participation of around 150 exhibitors, the exhibition will showcase following sectors – Automobiles of all kind , Engineering , Auto parts, Textile & clothing, Carpets, Pharmaceuticals, Agri/Food, Designer Wear, Gems & jewelry, Traditional Textiles, Handicraft & Marble
The Sri Lanka – Pakistan Business Council of the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce in collaboration with the EDB will set up B2B meetings with the Pakistan – Sri Lanka businessmen during the event.
Pakistan is the second largest trading partner of Sri Lanka in the South Asian region, while the two countries have an FTA in place, which became operational during the year 2005.
Pakistan believes the trade between the two nations may go up to a total sum of the US$ 1 billion in the future, with optimum utilization of the existing FTA.
