CCC CALENDAR - A USEFUL GUIDE TO THE BUSINESS COMMUNITY

The Ceylon Chamber of Commerce (CCC) Calendar which has established itself as a very useful guide to the business community in Sri Lanka, serves as a ready reckoner to various categories of holidays observed in Sri Lanka.

The 2012 Calendar lists Public, Bank, Charter Party, Chamber Holidays and Holidays under Shop and Office Act.  The Chamber spokesman briefing on the CCC 2012 calendar stated ‘If you possess a CCC calendar, you do not have to worry about checking with anyone about holidays applicable to your organization, holidays of other establishments nor the non operational days

 of the port. You have to simply follow the holiday listing set out in the calendar’.
