To commemorate the 165th anniversary of the Ceylon
Chamber of Commerce a historical review has been published.
The Review takes you on a fascinating journey beginning from the early
18th century and ending in 2004. The growth and development of the
commercial sector, how the CCC contributed to facilitate business
and economic growth in Sri Lanka during this period, the role played
by the leaders of the Chamber in its evolution from a commodity based
organisation of Coffee, Tea, Rubber and Coconut to a modern business
environment is narrated.
Members of this Chamber who form a part of its heritage should own
