The Foreign Trade Information Division (FTID) strives to add value to the business environment, by coming up with innovative information and support, to uplift a variety of  businesses.- information on sectors together with a detailed analysis about the sectors trends and immerging market opportunities, Trade Contacts Bulletin Sri Lanka and Country statistical journals are among the publications produced by them.

Library
The Chamber library has been there from inception of the chamber and started off by placing the minutes files during the early days. 
The Library upholds information relevant to the business community and serves the people in the educational sector as well. The Chamber library is equipped with foreign trade directories, annual reports, business/economic/law related books and articles, magazines, Government Acts, Gazettes, newspaper articles on various sectors, countries, Europe market intelligence reports on several products etc. Photocopies of publications are made available to the interested parties at a very minimal rate
